The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Engineering or a related field, with 2-3 years of experience in operations, preferably in steel fabrication. Job Description

Monitor and coordinate daily shop floor activities to ensure production timelines, quality, and safety standards are met.

Liaise with internal teams (Design, Planning, QC, Procurement, and Project) to ensure effective workflow and resource allocation.

Track material usage, inventory levels, and coordinate with the store and purchasing teams for replenishment needs.

Support planning and scheduling of production jobs based on project priorities and deadlines.

Prepare and maintain operational reports, such as production output, downtime, and efficiency metrics.

Identify bottlenecks, delays, or potential issues in operations and escalate or resolve them promptly.

Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen, etc.) on the production floor.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company SOPs.

Support coordination of delivery and logistics for completed components to project sites.

Participate in internal audits, quality inspections, and other compliance-related tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in operations, preferably in steel fabrication or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes (CNC cutting, welding, blasting, painting, etc.).
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and production tracking tools.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to be based at the production facility and visit project sites as required.
