A leading company in Johor is seeking an Entry-level Manufacturing Engineer to create and maintain technical drawings and models using SolidWorks. The role involves supporting the product lifecycle from design to mass production, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with production teams. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and relevant experience in the electronics manufacturing sector.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in EMS or electronics manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of ECR, ECN, and EOC processes.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and models.
• Support full product lifecycle including prototyping and design validation.
• Provide technical support during new product introduction.

Job description

Create, revise, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and models using SolidWorks.

Interpret product specifications and translate concepts into manufacturable mechanical designs.

Support the full product lifecycle, including prototyping, design validation, and transition to mass production.

Prepare and process engineering documentation in accordance with ECR, ECN, and EOC processes.

Provide technical support to the production team during new product introduction (NPI) and ongoing production.

Review and implement design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) considerations.

Ensure compliance with company and industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the EMS or electronics manufacturing sector.
• Proficient in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and technical drawing.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with ECR, ECN, and EOC processes.
• Knowledge of GD&T, mechanical tolerance analysis, and material selection.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
