Join our Finance team as an ARC SME.

The ARC SME supervises a team of professionals and non-professionals, ensuring accurate and timely recording, collection, and processing of all general accounting, reporting, fixed assets, statutory accounting, and direct tax transactions, while adhering to policies and procedures to deliver excellent customer service, operational excellence, and compliance.

In this role, you will:

  1. Ensure the team’s accurate and timely delivery of general accounting, reporting, fixed assets, statutory accounting, and direct tax services (e.g., journal postings, GL maintenance, report preparation, reconciliations, tax submissions) in accordance with SLAs.
  2. Manage and coordinate system reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrections.
  3. Provide advice and information to staff and stakeholders as needed.
  4. Track and resolve outstanding accounting and reporting issues, escalating when necessary.
  5. Identify, propose, and implement continuous process improvements within the team.
  6. Perform people management responsibilities, including planning, assigning work, coaching, providing development opportunities, and fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications for success:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., MIA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
  • At least 6–7 years’ experience in general and/or financial accounting.
  • At least 5–6 years’ experience leading, developing, and coaching teams.
  • Experience in shared service centers.
