About the Role
At Workday, our Account Executives for Large Enterprises are key members of our Field Sales Operations team.
Focusing on net new revenue, they drive growth by guiding new customers to adopt our enterprise management cloud, moving beyond legacy platforms. We prioritize partnering with customers to craft solutions that deliver lasting value, ensuring high satisfaction from day one and ongoing.
In this role, you will:
- Develop strategies for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities within your assigned territory of Large Enterprise Clients headquartered in Germany.
- Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other teams to ensure strategic alignment.
- Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within global Large Enterprise prospects, sharing Workday's value proposition.
- Build relationships with new customers, focusing on deal management and connecting clients with Workday solutions, especially core financials.
- Negotiate deals with C-Level executives to close opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and timely data on customers, prospects, pipelines, and forecasts.

About You
Basic Qualifications
- Experience selling SaaS/Cloud solutions to C-level executives in a field sales role.
- Experience collaborating with internal teams (pre-sales, value, inside sales) to meet quotas and manage multiple deals.
- Experience managing longer sales cycles (12 months+), including prospecting.
Other Qualifications
- Understanding of industry trends and customer needs to position Workday solutions effectively.
- Ability to quickly establish trust with stakeholders.
- Experience with account strategy and territory management.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
