Job Responsibilities:
  • Review project installation and engineering procedures.
  • Review offshore installation planning and provide technical support.
  • Participate in Project IPOPs, HAZIDs, and meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to approved procedures offshore.
  • Attend daily progress and toolbox meetings.
  • Lead minor incident investigations.
  • Implement and monitor QA/QC standards offshore.
  • Manage work progress, resource planning, and report daily to the Project Engineer.
  • Oversee all technical and logistical aspects of offshore installation and commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and cost requirements.
  • Record lessons learned during offshore activities.
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure emergency procedures are tested and in place.
  • Conduct weekly HSE inspections and follow up on recommendations.
  • Ensure incident reporting and investigation procedures are followed.
Job Requirements:
  • Recognized engineering degree or minimum 15 years’ offshore upstream experience.
  • At least 10 years’ experience as a Site Representative in an offshore environment.
  • 5 years’ experience with Deepwater SURF installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
  • Proven project, safety, and personnel management skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards, codes, and procedures.
  • Completion of OPITO-approved Major Emergency Management training.
  • Preferably Shell PTW training and Major Emergencies management training.
  • Based in Sarawak.
