About the role

Cal-Comp Precision (M) Sdn Bhd has an exciting opportunity for an IT Engineer to join their team in Senai, Johor. As an IT Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for the company's information technology infrastructure and systems. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's IT functions.

What you'll be doing

1. Network Management – Maintain stable operations of internal/external networks and VoIP systems
2. CCTV Maintenance – Ensure proper functioning and routine upkeep of CCTV systems
3. Server Room Management – Monitor and maintain server room temperature and server performance
4. User IT Support – Provide hardware/software support including ERP-related issues and software license management
5. Information Security Assessment – Conduct regular assessments to ensure network and data security
6. ISO Audit Support – Assist in ISO audits and related documentation or process coordination
7. AI Project Support – Assist department to improve work processes through AI technology

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
• Familiarity with operating systems, such as Windows and Linux, and common business applications
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with users at all levels
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• A customer-centric mindset and a passion for providing high-quality IT support
