The Field Service Engineer role for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics involves providing high-quality service to ensure customer satisfaction, primarily supporting in Malaysia. Responsibilities include technical support to service engineers and inter-departmental teams, carrying out service tasks, and helping increase service income while reducing costs.

This position is based in Malaysia, fully remote, and part of the Diagnostics Team. Our vision is to reimagine healthcare through innovative diagnostics.

You will join the Service Team BCMY, reporting to the Service Supervisor, and focus on delivering excellent service to meet KPIs. If you thrive in a dynamic, supportive environment and aim to build a top-tier technical support team, read on.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver quality service to meet internal KPI requirements
• Attend service calls for instrument installation, maintenance, upgrades, inspections, safety tests, and other field activities
• Respond to urgent service calls to support critical accounts outside regular hours
• Prepare and submit reports related to field service, expenses, and on-duty activities
• Maintain tools and equipment according to quality standards

Essential requirements:

• Education – Degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Science & Technology, Biotechnology, or Biomedical Engineering
• Experience – Minimum 3 years in a similar role within IVD field
• Skills – Troubleshooting, investigating, resolving technical issues, prioritizing service calls, and providing customer advice. Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu

Travel & Physical Requirements:

• Willingness to travel up to 40% within Malaysia
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Proficiency in English and Malay; additional languages are a plus

Preferred experience:

• Effective communication with customers and colleagues
• Knowledge of workflow studies and AutoCAD
