Job summary

A leading trading company in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Executive to handle financial and management accounting tasks. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate reporting, liaising with auditors, and managing payroll. The ideal candidate should possess a Post Graduate Diploma and be proficient in Microsoft Office, with a proactive and can-do attitude. • Coordinate internal accounting activities and prepare monthly payroll.

• Perform full financial and management accounting.
• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Group management.
• Liaise with external & internal auditors, tax consultants, company secretary, and other relevant statutory bodies for the Group's audit, tax, and legal compliance matters.
• Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany accounting activities.
• Prepare monthly payroll (SQL payroll).
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Monitor monthly exchange rates.
• Check inter-branch balances.
• Conduct bank reconciliations.
• Manage monthly statutory payments/submissions.

Requirement:

• Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Proactive, can-do attitude, and passionate about work.
