A leading company in Kuching is seeking a Civil Engineer to assist in the design and supervision of civil engineering projects, particularly in road construction. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, relevant experience, and be registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia. Assist in the design, coordination, and supervision of civil engineering works, particularly in road construction and infrastructure.

Review drawings, specifications, and method statements for compliance.

Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and monitor work progress against plans.

Liaise with consultants, clients, and contractors to resolve technical and construction issues.

Assist in project documentation, progress reporting, and technical submissions.

Prepare calculations, materials take-offs, and engineering reports as required.

Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

2–5 years relevant experience in civil/infrastructure projects (preferably roadworks).

Must be registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and a Graduate Member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM).

Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices, codes, and site procedures.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and basic scheduling tools.

Able to work independently and in a team under tight timelines.
