Regional Marketing Manager (Specialize in Water Treatment Sales)

Job Title: Regional Marketing Manager (Mandarin Speaking, Specialize in Water Treatment Sales & Marketing)

Work Location: Level 17, Menara Liang Court, No.37, Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah, 10050 Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia
(Frequent travel across the region required based on project needs)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; weekends off
(Flexibility expected during peak project periods)

Reporting Line: Reports directly to the General Manager (GM)

This is a strategic and client-facing role responsible for spearheading CESE2’s water treatment market expansion across Southeast Asia. The Regional Marketing Manager will serve as a bridge between corporate strategy and frontline client development, combining technical know-how with marketing expertise to grow our footprint in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. The ideal candidate is not only commercially driven but also technically fluent in the nuances of EPC water treatment solutions. Responsibilities include:

  • Drive business development initiatives for industrial water treatment projects across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
  • Develop and execute market-entry strategies tailored to each country’s industrial landscape.
  • Maintain and expand strong client relationships; build long-term partnerships with key decision-makers.
  • Prepare, review, and present professional marketing proposals; lead internal strategy sessions and campaign post-mortems.
  • Oversee and participate in tender submissions; ensure strict compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
  • Represent CESE2 in cross-border engagements, trade fairs, and industry networking events.
  • Execute additional tasks and strategic projects as delegated by the General Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales or project marketing, particularly in EPC water treatment or industrial solutions.
  • Strong understanding of SEA regional markets and their environmental infrastructure development.
  • Proven track record of working with clients in sectors such as semiconductors, chemicals, or industrial parks.
  • Existing professional network in the environmental, water, or electronics industries across SEA is a strong plus.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English is mandatory – capable of handling business negotiations, presentations, and report writing in both languages to effectively communicate with Mandarin speaking clients.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and coordination skills; able to work under pressure and manage regional travel frequently.
