Security Support, Corporate Security Office
Responsibilities include:
- Regularly patrol designated areas, monitoring for suspicious activity and ensuring the safety of the premises.
- Access Control: Control access to buildings and facilities, verifying identification and ensuring only authorized personnel are permitted entry. Monitor CCTV and surveillance equipment to detect potential threats and respond to alarms.
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, and calls for assistance, providing immediate action and reporting incidents to appropriate authorities.
- Security Procedures: Enforce security protocols and procedures, ensuring they are followed by all personnel and visitors.
- Visitor Management: Issue visitor passes and verify their identities.
- Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets.
- First Response: Serve as first responders in case of emergencies, providing immediate assistance and support.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with supervisors, colleagues, and other relevant parties.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of incidents, patrols, and other relevant security activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum educational qualification of at least SRP/SPM.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields such as Police, Auxiliary Police, Army, security guard, RELA, etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting incidents and effective communication.
- Ability to interact professionally with the public, employees, and handle conflict or crisis situations.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to security and safety.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.
Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience in security and safety preferred.
