Responsible for maximizing profits by developing sales strategies in new areas that match customer requirements and by promoting products, services, or ideas.

Responsibilities

  1. Developing business strategies for products and services and presenting proposals to target partners.
  2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with stockists, retailers, and distributors, acting as a point of contact for inquiries and ensuring sales targets are met.
  3. Tracking and analyzing stockist performance data to identify trends and opportunities.
  4. Negotiating terms and conditions with stockists, including pricing, delivery schedules, and promotional activities.
  5. Addressing issues with stockists promptly and effectively. Preparing reports and presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations to management.
  6. Collaborating with departments such as Marketing, Sales, and Logistics to ensure smooth operations.
  7. Representing the company at industry events and trade shows.
  8. Ensuring stockists maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demands.
  9. Liaising with media outlets such as newspapers and broadcasters on business development matters.
  10. Undertaking assignments as Personal Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer.
  11. Performing other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superiors.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
