Perform tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Sales Growth: Assist distributors in driving sales efforts to increase market share and revenue within their territories.
- Market Feedback: Stay informed about market trends and competitors to identify business opportunities.
- Reporting: Track sales activities and provide regular updates to the line manager on progress and market insights.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the product and marketing teams regarding technical support and marketing activation.
- Others: Support the line manager and commercial director as required.
- New Product Introduction: Identify and target prospective clients through current distributor outlets and work closely with distributor sales teams and the line manager to communicate the benefits and features of AB Mauri products.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers within the distributor's customer list.
- Brand Awareness: Effectively communicate the benefits and features of our bakery ingredients to potential customers.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution.
- At least 1 year of experience in business development; experience in the food industry is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, positive work attitude, high integrity, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in reading and writing in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
