Responsibilities:
- To train, develop, motivate, retain, and encourage employees to improve current job efficiency.
- To lead subordinates to execute production-related duties.
- To monitor production work practices to ensure that products are produced to agreed specifications.
- To allocate General Workers according to the headcount and abilities efficiently.
- To ensure raw materials are sufficient to run production as per schedule and maintain continuous production.
- Maintaining GMP/housekeeping at a high level within the department through the involvement of all team members.
- Adhere to quality procedures as in process instructions and process records.
- To ensure the machinery and equipment are operated in a safe manner.
- To recommend improvements of facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Work in accordance with Health and Safety procedures/rules.
- Fix minor issues that may arise with the production line and troubleshoot when production issues occur.
- To work in harmony and as a team with co-workers and meet production goals.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- SPM/STPM/Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably from the food manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
