Ensure alignment of day-to-day financial transactions and oversee accounting across the ASIA region, ensuring compliance with internal policies and local regulations.
Manage credit control processes in accordance with company guidelines and regional targets.
Oversee budget planning and cash flow forecasting.
Support acquisitions and expansion efforts within regional countries.
Lead the setup of new offices and accounting systems across the ASIA region, establishing necessary processes and functions.
Enhance internal controls over financial systems, processes, and procedures to improve operational efficiency in financial accounting, expenditure, inventory, and revenue cycles.
Address and resolve daily operational and financial challenges.
Supervise, coach, and direct a diverse team to ensure timely delivery of financial and operational solutions.
Coordinate and assist with annual external audits, follow up on audit findings, and review draft financial statements.
Review regional companies’ annual tax computations prepared by tax agents and ensure timely filings.
Handle finance-related matters for the regional team, including:
Perform other projects or duties as assigned.
Possess a tertiary qualification with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a distributor environment, including at least 2 years in management.
Experience in accounting, credit control, risk management, and supply chain operations is advantageous.
Highly independent with strong organizational, prioritization, and planning skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Meticulous with attention to detail and follow-up capabilities.
Able to build and manage a diverse team.
Knowledge of local tax and legal issues across ASEAN region is beneficial.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Team-oriented mindset.
SAP experience is required.
