About the DepartmentUOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business pioneer team spearheading the development and delivery of the new services.

Job ResponsibilitiesThe Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and security of the company’s facility. This includes managing building systems, overseeing vendor relationships, handling security systems (CCTV and card access), managing fixed assets, and involve in assigned projects and operation readiness
The role also ensures compliance with safety regulations, implements emergency response protocols, and provides leadership and guidance to the facilities team.
Facilities Maintenance:
• Oversee daily facility operations, coordinating repairs, preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve facility issues as needed
• Coordinate with the building management on the upkeep of the building
Vendor & Contractor Management:
• Manage vendor relationship and service contracts (e.g. building, security, maintenance)
• Together with relevant stakeholders, manage vendor sourcing whenever required
• Monitor performance and ensure cost-effective services
Budget Management:
• Manage the facilities budget, track expenditures, and recommend cost-saving measures
CCTV & Security Systems:
• Oversee CCTV system installation, maintenance, and monitoring
• Manage access control systems to ensure secure building access
Fixed Asset Management:
• Track and maintain fixed assets, ensuring proper documentation, audits, and lifecycle management (acquisition to disposal)
Project Management:
• Lead and manage small renovation projects, including planning, vendor coordination, and budget management
• Ensure project compliance with safety and quality standards
Health & Safety Compliance:
• Ensure the facility meets health, safety, and all relevant regulations
• Develop emergency response and regular training / announcements to increase OSH awareness
Team Leader:
• Providing leadership and guidance to the team
• Setting up and updating processes (including process improvement initiatives) and ensuring the SOPs are followed by the team members
All other responsibilities as seen appropriate
• Relevant education in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field is desired but not compulsory
• DOSH certificate will be an advantage but not a requirement
• 5+ years of experience in facilities management or a related field
• Strong knowledge of building systems, asset management, vendor management, and safety regulations in Admin and Facilities Management or relevant working experience
• Any experience within property / facilities management of hospitals, shopping malls and/or condominiums will be ad advantage
• Basic understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and plumbing will be an advantage
• Ability to manage time and priorities
• Contract negotiation / understanding and Vendor sourcing
