Job Description
- Design, develop, install, manage, and maintain equipment and systems used to control manufacturing and machining processes, ensuring their effective, efficient, and safe operation.
- Test, maintain, and modify existing systems.
- Maintain and upgrade CNC machines and their programs; interpret technical blueprints, input design specifications, adjust machine cutting paths, and perform quality checks on final products.
- Input product process designs into computer software to generate command codes for machines.
- Write computer software and test procedures.
- Adjust machine settings to meet product specifications, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues during manufacturing.
- Manage vendor relationships to maintain supply control systems.
- Collaborate with facility engineers, operation engineers, purchasers, and other staff.
- Develop new business proposals.
- Train new staff and operators on machine operation procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Electrical, Automatic Control, or Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in CNC programming.
- Extensive experience with CAD/CAM software solutions.
- Experience with Delta-Tau systems is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of electrical or electronic control hardware/systems, including PMAC, Siemens, Mitsubishi, GSK, Omron.
- Skills in control disciplines such as PLC, SCADA, APC, DCS.
- Understanding of high-level computer technology.
- Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to lead and coach others.
