The Role

Join a collaborative finance team where you'll play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records. As a member of the General Ledger team, you'll oversee the company's ledger, support the month-end close process, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role offers exposure to financial reporting, analysis, and automation, contributing to business growth.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills.
  • A team player capable of working independently under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform month-end and year-end close reviews for US GAAP & Local GAAP, including accruals, prepayment amortization, deposits, inter-company chargebacks, audit adjustments, and miscellaneous journal entries.
  • Maintain the inter-company sub-ledger.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for accounts under GL ownership.
  • Prepare and present the Balance Sheet Package (BSP) for review with Site Controllers and Corporate Accounting.
  • Perform bank reconciliations for Bank of America and local banks.
  • Support US GAAP and local statutory audits.
  • Lead and manage projects, assignments, and process improvements.
  • Involved in KPI and metrics tracking and measurement.
  • Prepare reports and presentation decks for management and business partners.
Preferred Experience
  • Background in accounting with a strong understanding of general ledger processes, month-end close procedures, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with accounting software such as SAP and Blackline is a plus.
  • Exposure to cross-functional collaboration and working in fast-paced environments is beneficial.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and VBA skills are required.
  • Experience with automation tools like Power BI, Power Query, or RPA is highly valued.
Academic Credentials

Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification in accounting.
