Your Contribution

• Implement prescribed sourcing strategies regarding prices and contract negotiations.
• Ensure that purchasing targets/KPIs set and agreed with your supervisor are met.
• Continuously analyze and develop sourcing markets and internal client demands for assigned material groups/material clusters.
• Support strategic purchasers with knowledge and information related to regional market conditions and new developments.
• Ensure punctual and accurate processing of contracts and orders according to SCHOTT purchasing guidelines, including order post-processing and master data management; review prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions; maintain supplier-related agreements in accessible databases.

Your Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years in Purchasing or Supply Chain.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes, tools, and systems (e.g., SAP, SPO, e-Commerce).
• Understanding of internal customer needs (technical and commercial).
• Knowledge of local supply markets (technical and commercial).
• Familiarity with Payment Terms, Incoterms, Sourcing, Negotiation, Contacting, Ordering Management, and Supplier Management.
• Skills in Project Management, Communication, Analytical thinking, and Change Promotion.
