Join the dynamic team at Wong Engineering Corporation Bhd as a Business Development Executive. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the company in the Kulim Kedah region. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a crucial role in cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales to achieve the company's strategic objectives.

Wong Engineering was established in October 1982. The company has since grown to become the leading manufacturer for high precision component parts in Malaysia.

The company is expanding and we are now hiring a Business Development Executive to help us with building strong and positive relationships with our clients and business partners.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare quotation upon receiving RFQ from customer based on the minimum order quantity (MOQ) and annual quantity (EAU).
• Attend discussions with the CPM group, which includes the Costing & Product Development team for Technical Query (TQ) preparation upon receiving 3D drawings from customers.
• Prepare special reports on quotations for customers if requested.
• Notify Product Development, Costing, or Sourcing Section if price code is higher compared to the first quotation submission.
• Liaise with customers and follow up on the submitted quotations.
• Confirm TQ with customers once awarded by customers.
• Create official codes such as internal coding and price maintenance in the system (SAP).
• Coordinate FA meetings with all internal departments, i.e., Production, Purchasing, including Sourcing, QA, Costing, PD & others upon receiving the confirmed award from customers.
• Brief the group on updates regarding TQs raised before.
• Log in drawings after internal drawings are completed by the Process department. Submit TQ update data from customers to internal departments if any.
• Follow up to ensure parts are shipped out according to the deadline.
• Follow the Company’s environmental policy and procedures and comply with any environmental-related legal or regulatory requirements.
• Any other tasks as assigned by Management.

Must have requirements:

• At least 1 year in the related field.
• Minimum Diploma or Degree holder in the relevant field.
• Required languages: English, Bahasa, and Mandarin. Need to communicate with our Mandarin-speaking counterparts.
