Qualifications

  • Tertiary education in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or relevant discipline.
  • Extensive programming experience in Siemens PLC and WINCC.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document new control systems from concept to qualification.

Job description

As we constantly have projects & system integrations lined up, we want you to join our team as a Junior/ Senior Automation Control Engineer in Selangor (Shah Alam, Section 27) & Penang (Perai).


What does Our Team do?

  1. Develops and documents new control systems from concept to qualification.
  2. Designs and develops DCS/PLC /SCADA / HMI / RTU control programs for Process/Factory / Facilities automation (Siemens).
  3. Outlines and reviews low voltage electrical switchboard/ control panels.
  4. Performs Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) with customers.
  5. Performs Site Acceptance Tests, Testing & Commissioning with customers.
  6. Works closely with equipment vendors and contractors to troubleshoot and resolve start-up issues.
  7. Extends start-up support and training for control and monitoring systems.
  8. Troubleshoots and eliminates control systems issues and handles controls projects.
  9. Liaises with other departments, sub-contractors; as well as interacting with customers to provide technical support, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues.
  10. Responds to any events impacting production.

Do You Have What It Takes?

  1. Tertiary education in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or relevant discipline.
  2. Extensive programming experience in Step 7 / TIA / PCS7 programming for Siemens PLC and WINCC, Allen Bradley, and other PLCs.
  3. Readiness to travel extensively (Local and Overseas).
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Highly analytical and attentive to detail as well as proactive at work.
  6. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; other languages are an added advantage.
  7. Ability to integrate control systems with other resource planning and management systems.
