Job Description

To maximize sales in assigned HFB and to serve as a source of knowledge and expertise for the team. The role requires a deep knowledge of the product range, local market, customers, store layout, IKEA digital tools, and the experience and expertise of colleagues. Support the efficient operation of the IKEA mechanical sales system to ensure the continued execution and success of the IKEA Concept. The role contributes to fulfilling the four key tasks of the IKEA store:

  1. Act as a highly efficient, well-staffed sales mechanism.
  2. Show inspiring home furnishing solutions and ideas.
  3. Serve as a well-qualified home furnishing specialist.
  4. Provide a welcoming environment for the whole family.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a customer- and commercial-oriented business.
  • Experience actively selling by understanding customer needs.
  • Deep knowledge of relevant digital tools, e.g., Home Planner.
  • Excellent communication skills; confident and friendly when engaging with co-workers and customers, and capable of handling difficult situations.
  • Open to change and highly flexible.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work efficiently.
