Job description

Drive and support the achievement of the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Quality Policy.

Translate organizational strategic goals into HR operational plans and performance metrics.

Ensure departmental and company-wide objectives are met through effective HR strategies and initiatives.

Compliance and Governance

Ensure full compliance with Malaysian labor laws, RBA (Responsible Business Alliance) standards, ISO requirements, and internal company policies.

Regularly review, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with statutory regulations and industry best practices.

Ensure accurate and timely submission of reports to relevant authorities such as MIDA, JTK, and the Department of Statistics.

Talent Acquisition and Onboarding

Prepare and issue employment contracts and offer letters for new hires.

Conduct orientation and onboarding programs to support smooth assimilation of new employees into the company culture.

Ensure timely biometric registration (thumbprint) for new hires as per departmental assignment.

HR Operations and Administration

Oversee and ensure the accurate maintenance of the Time Management System, including attendance, leave, and employee records for both new hires and resignations.

Administer the EPE (Payroll System), ensuring timely payroll processing, data integrity, and system updates.

Manage HR administrative tasks, including official correspondence, internal memos, and documentation.

Coordinate internal communication by updating new hire announcements on noticeboards and digital platforms.

Statutory and Payroll Compliance

Ensure accurate and timely statutory contributions and deductions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN) in accordance with Malaysian legislation.

Manage employee registrations and updates on statutory portals such as SOCSO, HRDF, and related government systems for both local and foreign workers.

Handle HRDF training grants and claims, including application submission and follow-up.

Oversee end-to-end processes for foreign worker management, including permit renewals, passport monitoring, and visa compliance.

Coordinate FOMEMA medical check-ups and ensure completion within regulatory timelines.

Liaise with government agencies, vendors, and internal departments for documentation, approvals, and renewals.

Maintain up-to-date records of foreign worker status and ensure compliance with immigration requirements.

Hostel and Welfare Management

Supervise hostel operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and proper living conditions in accordance with regulatory and company standards.

Conduct periodic inspections and resolve issues related to accommodation facilities for foreign workers.

Promote employee welfare and implement engagement programs to boost morale, retention, and productivity.

Employee Engagement & Development

Identify training and development needs in collaboration with department heads.

Drive employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs to foster a positive work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or multinational environment.

Familiar with Malaysian labor laws, HRDF, SOCSO, EIS, and payroll practices.

Strong knowledge of RBA and ISO standards.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in HRIS, payroll software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
