We’re looking for a passionate and driven Assistant Sales Manager to help grow our catering and event services business. You’ll play a key role in managing client relationships, closing sales, and supporting the sales team in delivering unforgettable event experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in catering and event segments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Understand client needs and propose tailored catering/event solutions.
- Actively follow up on inquiries and leads to close deals.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Client Servicing:
- Ensure an excellent customer journey from initial contact to event execution.
- Conduct site visits, client meetings, and event briefings as needed.
- Address client feedback professionally and ensure high satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal departments (kitchen, operations, logistics, and event team) to ensure smooth delivery of services.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns.
- Reporting & Strategy:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and client trends.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Sales Manager or higher management.
- Support the development and execution of sales strategies and plans.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the catering, F&B, hospitality, or event industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Confident in presenting proposals and closing sales.
- High attention to detail and client-oriented.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when needed.
- Own transport is preferred.
