Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Nurse in the Accident & Emergency (A&E) department at UCSI Hospital, located in Port Dickson. The Staff Nurse A&E will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in emergency situations. This includes, but is not limited to, patient assessment, administering medications, wound care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop care plans. The nurse will also be expected to maintain accurate patient records, provide emotional support to patients and their families, and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) certification and a valid nursing license
  • Experience in Emergency or Critical Care nursing
  • Proficiency in patient assessment, wound care, and emergency response
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred
