Qualifications
  • Degree qualified in Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture or Certificate of Competency 1.
  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience as Ship Project Manager (repair or new construction), Technical Superintendent, Marine surveyor, or equivalent; or seafaring experience as a foreign-going engineer.
  • Possess a driving license.
  • PC literate.
  • Able to travel at short notice and accept short to mid-term overseas assignments as required.
Responsibilities
  • Carry out surveys, draw up and send relevant reports to the Operational Manager, in compliance with FM procedures.
  • Assess conditions necessary for surveys to meet quality standards, considering own abilities, availability, and onboard conditions.
  • Ensure the quality of services.
  • Provide information and support to CDs, NS operation managers, SSQMs, MOCs, and MOs regarding missions involving them.
  • Assist ship owner/ship manager in day-to-day operations.
