Job summary

Job description

Assisting in all corporate exercises of the Group.

  1. Assisting the Director/HOD in handling the company's day-to-day operations.
  2. Maintaining statutory books, administrative records, registers of members, directors, secretaries, charges, and substantial shareholders to ensure all corporate secretarial records are updated timely.
  3. Preparing company resolutions, minutes of meetings, board papers, statutory forms, and other secretarial documents for submission to authorities such as the Companies Commission of Malaysia and LHDN.
  4. Organizing and updating all corporate secretarial documents systematically for easy retrieval and efficient processing.
  5. Ensuring compliance with the Companies Act 2016 and other relevant regulations and practices.
  6. Monitoring invoices from external company secretaries to ensure timely payments and minimize delays.
LEGAL:
  1. Providing legal support to the Board of Directors and Management.
  2. Reviewing agreements and legal documents to protect the company's interests.
  3. Preparing summaries of contracts, including background, legal exposure, and liabilities.
  4. Filing legal documents systematically for safekeeping and quick access.
  5. Monitoring legal invoices for timely processing and payment.
OTHERS:
  1. Performing additional duties as assigned by management related to legal and secretarial functions.
  2. Supporting activities related to the Board of Directors.
  3. Ensuring efficient administrative operations within the department.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma.
  • Professional qualifications are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of Listing Requirements and BURSA regulations is preferred.
  • Understanding of the Securities Commission Act and regulations.
  • Familiarity with the Corporate Governance Code.
  • Experience in drafting Board papers, reports, and minutes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and computer literacy.
