Job Details:
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Driving alignment on priorities across key functions: safety, quality, productivity, people engagement, and cost management.
- Leading routine performance management of engineering and overall equipment efficiency, driving the company's productivity system towards continuous improvements and operational excellence.
- Collaborating with the management team to identify performance goals and providing ongoing monitoring and management of performance.
- Assessing and proactively identifying technical issues against manufacturing goals, providing immediate feedback, and determining the best course of action in conjunction with the management team.
- Working with the Plant Manager and other senior management on internal leadership tasks related to administration, strategic, and organizational planning.
- Defining, implementing, and revising operational policies and guidelines for the manufacturing department.
- Working with HR to develop a motivated and engaged manufacturing team.
- Ensuring maintenance and engineering information is timely, accurate, and properly reported.
- Developing engineering project plans for Data Analytics, Automation, and Digitization; coordinating projects; and communicating changes and progress.
- Collaborating with the Plant Manager and Senior Management Team to prioritize and deliver projects aligned with business needs.
- Engaging and leading special projects such as operational process assessments, improvement initiatives, metrics definition, and cost analysis; preparing reports and presentations as needed.
- Seeking and implementing line and equipment improvements to enhance safety, quality, productivity, personnel engagement, development, and cost efficiency.
- Consulting with Engineering Sr. Manager and Plant Sr. Manager to develop and implement short-term and long-term goals.
- Maintaining technical leadership and excellence by overseeing talent planning, attraction, selection, retention, and development.
- Providing assistance for engineering safety coordination to ensure safe operation and personnel safety, including that of visitors and contractors.
- Supporting and driving innovation through collaboration with process owners and cross-functional teams for flawless execution.
- Conducting regular coaching and mentoring to motivate and develop team members.
- Leading the engineering team to ensure compliance with internal and external audits.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- A university degree in Engineering or Technology.
- Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance planning, equipment repair and maintenance management, and spare parts management.
- Experience in end-to-end project management, including engineering and business projects.
- Specialized technical engineering knowledge in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil engineering.
