About the role

We are seeking a highly capable Finance Manager to join our dynamic team at SINARAN ADVANCE GROUP BERHAD. As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial accounting and reporting functions for our organisation. This is a full-time position based in our Petaling Jaya, Selangor office.

What you'll be doing

1. Oversee the full accounting cycle including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger management.
2. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and other reports to provide insights and recommendations to management.
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
4. Manage the finance team and oversee the implementation of efficient financial processes and controls.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and business objectives.
6. Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
7. Participate in the development and implementation of the company's financial strategy.

What we're looking for

• Qualified accountant with 5+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the accounting or finance industry.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills with a thorough understanding of IFRS and Malaysian accounting standards.
• Proven experience in managing a finance function, including people management and process improvement.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to provide strategic financial insights.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems.
