Job Description

In conjunction with the business strategy, identify and deliver existing or new markets to grow the business. Ensure feasibility and successful delivery of products or services.

Assist in maintaining consistent contact and providing Sales and Marketing support for the stipulated Region.

Coordinate and support tender preparation and submission.

Prepare sales reports.

Assist in marketing the business within the stipulated Region.

Handle all incoming mail or issues related to Sales/Marketing.

Make regularly scheduled sales calls on all major customers within the region.

Attend trade shows as required to benefit the business.

Assist the Sales/Marketing Manager in identifying new business opportunities for development.

Identify new service trends needed by clients.

Analyze market segments.

Educate the sales force to convey company objectives and set up sales programs.

Develop effective presentations to create awareness of current market conditions, trends, and client needs.

Ensure all sales activities comply with clients' and industry health and safety regulations.

Maintain close contact with SGS affiliates on transnational operations.

Adhere to SGS Quality Management System standards and processes, ensuring full compliance with ISO 17020, MIBAS policy, ISO 17065, ACB policy, ISO 17025, and SAMM policy where applicable.

Uphold SGS Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Policy by demonstrating good safety behavior and exercising necessary standards and processes to ensure HSE compliance.

Perform any other responsibilities assigned by your reporting manager and/or senior management.

Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Good interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with strong business acumen and adaptability to a dynamic environment.
  • Extensive experience in developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
