Job Description

This job is responsible for test development and test engineering activities for power module and discrete NPD, ensuring a smooth transition to mass production.

Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of test development engineers to support NPD, sustaining, and test technology breakthrough activities.
2. Collaborate with the Product Engineering and manufacturing test engineering teams to support new product development and transition to mass production across multiple sites.
3. Develop and implement test software and hardware for high voltage, high power semiconductor modules and discrete components, mainly focusing on final testing.
4. Create test coverage strategies to prevent test escapees.
5. Serve as the lead engineer for test solution implementation in mass production.
6. Support customer-related activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Physics.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor testing and/or product engineering, with a preference for experience in high power semiconductors.
• Strong knowledge of power semiconductors such as IGBT, MOSFET, Rectifiers, and gate drivers.
• Experience with ETS high power test platforms or similar in a multi-site environment is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with bench test equipment like power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, and curve tracers for debugging.
• Experience in dynamic testing of power semiconductors is a plus.
• Proficiency in Visual C++ programming.
• Computer literacy in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across different locations.
• Strong project management skills with a results-oriented approach.
