It offers a variety of programs from foundation to postgraduate levels, focusing on IT, engineering, business, and creative arts. MMU was among the first in Malaysia to introduce undergraduate nanotechnology courses.

Role Description

Senior lecturers teach students with an upper secondary education diploma in their specialized fields, primarily academic. They collaborate with teaching and research assistants to prepare lectures and exams, grade papers, lead laboratory sessions, and conduct review and feedback sessions. They also engage in academic research, publish findings, and collaborate with colleagues.

Qualifications

Candidate requirements:

• PhD in a related Computer Science field with a strong IT background in the area of expertise.
• Professional certifications such as Cisco Certified Instructor, EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker, etc., are preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Publish at least one (1) international journal paper per year related to your field of specialization. Patents may substitute for papers if they are of exceptional quality, as judged by international experts, at the discretion of Multimedia University.
2. Supervise at least one (1) postgraduate student per year, with their work examined by two (2) independent international experts.
3. Maintain above-average teaching evaluation scores, with a minimum of 3.5 out of 5.0 in all courses taught.
4. Demonstrate recognized expertise through industrial consultation or invitations to international meetings/conferences as a resource person.
5. Perform satisfactory administrative duties as required.
