Job Title:IT Specialist

Department: IT

Reports To: IT Director and General Plant Manager

Location: Malaysia

Job Purpose

To provide specialist IT support for the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the production management system (SAGE) and ERP infrastructure, support onboarding of new employees, and oversee hardware and software installation within the organization.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and maintenance for SAGE and ERP systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in the deployment, configuration, and upgrade of ERP infrastructure and related hardware/software.
• Support new employee onboarding by setting up IT accounts, hardware, and system access.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues related to hardware, software, network, and ERP systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement IT projects and upgrades according to business needs.
• Ensure IT infrastructure complies with cybersecurity standards and data protection policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, licenses, and assets.
• Provide training and guidance to end-users on ERP systems and IT tools.

Job Requirements

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or IT infrastructure roles.
• Experience in hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Malay.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities with attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and take initiative.
