Job Description:
- Leverages business knowledge and may interact with customers to develop, deploy and maintain business intelligence (BI) interfaces including query tools, data visualization and interactive dashboards, ad hoc reporting, data modeling tools.
- Develops and implements processes to transform structured and unstructured data into data warehouses, data marts, and data solutions such as data cubes and data sets.
- Creates and maintains technical and business documentation for data structures and processes.
- Manages the BI ecosystem within the framework of governance, privacy, and security.
- Maintains data analytics platforms, conducts troubleshooting on BI models, evaluates existing BI systems and makes recommendations for improvement.
- Builds and evaluates data warehouse designs and components, performs complex data analysis to identify the system and process issues, and develops appropriate solutions.
- Uses the warehouse data to generate financial and market intelligence reports to aid in business decision making and performance monitoring.
- Works with Data Warehouse Developers, Data Engineers and Data Architects to create Business Intelligence visualizations.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBI, Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), Databricks or Snowflake.
- Experience integrating LLM into data solutions.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices.
- Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
