About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Group Accountant to join our finance team at GLOBAL SUPER 10 SUPPLY SDN BHD in Kuantan, Pahang. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial management and reporting for our organisation, playing a crucial role in supporting our strategic growth objectives.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Preparing and analysing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Managing the budgeting and forecasting process, providing valuable insights to support business decision-making
• Overseeing the accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
• Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls and financial policies
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial advisory and support
• Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency
• Ensuring timely and accurate reporting to regulatory authorities and senior management

REQUIREMENT

• Qualified accountant with a recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in a management accounting or finance business partnering role
• Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong technical accounting skills, with a solid understanding of financial management and control
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate financial information into business insights
• Proficient in using financial management software and Microsoft Office suite
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in the relevant industry
