What is the opportunity?

RBC Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is a processing center supporting 10 countries across three time zones. The Malaysia hub manages Custody, Transaction Management, Settlements, NAV Production, Fund Reporting, Shareholder Services, Global Fund Platform Services, Data Service Delivery, Entitlements, Income, Corporate Actions, and Reconciliations. It operates under a Global Operating Model to maximize efficiencies and supports 24/5 operations. The objectives are to enhance scalability, improve service quality, and leverage standard global processes.

The incumbent will handle daily reconciliation processes for Asset and Cash accounts using TLM, ensuring ledger and custodian positions agree. The role involves minimizing breaks, investigating discrepancies, performing root cause analysis, and providing high-quality services to internal and external clients.

Working hours: 3pm-12am / 4pm-1am

Region: Europe

What will you do?

  • Review and clear daily cash and stock reconciliations via TLM.
  • Investigate cash and asset breaks and assign them appropriately.
  • Respond to email queries promptly.
  • Produce and maintain periodic reports for clients and internal use.
  • Generate statistical reports for distribution.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Banking operations/back-office experience.
  • Strong reconciliation knowledge.
  • Experience in Custody/Shareholder services.
  • Understanding of Entitlements, Cash Management, Transaction Management, Settlements, Fund Accounting.

Nice-to-have:

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
