About the role

Robin Village Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to join our construction team in Senai, Johor. As a Safety Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our workforce on-site. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career progression within our growing organization.

What you'll be doing

1. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
2. Implement and monitor safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
3. Provide safety training and education to workers to promote a strong safety culture.
4. Investigate and report any incidents or near-misses, and implement corrective actions.
5. Liaise with project managers, contractors, and regulatory authorities to maintain high safety standards.
6. Keep detailed records and documentation related to all safety activities.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Safety Supervisor in the construction industry.
• Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to the construction sector.
• Ability to interpret and apply safety protocols and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with workers at all levels.
• Proficiency in using safety-related software and technology.
• Relevant safety certifications or qualifications (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH).
