About the role

We're seeking an experienced Procurement Executive to join our dynamic team at Mega Fortris Berhad in Kota Kemuning, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in planning, coordinating and delivering projects that support the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • To source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with the suppliers.
  • To liaise and coordinate with Production Planners to ensure sufficient stock balance according to minimum stock level (MSL)
  • Prepare and issue PO to suppliers with relevant documents to support the purchase transaction
  • Obtain necessary approval for PO based on authorization matrix in the absence of H.O.D
  • Monitor and follow up with suppliers on the delivery of goods and services
  • To ensure compliance of statutory and regulatory requirements such as custom department, MIDA and etc to avoid any hidden costs
  • To ensure proper documents of all purchases and it being recorded in ERP system
  • To submit complete documents (invoice, DO/PL, GRN, PO & etc.) on timely basis to Account department
  • Prepare reports as and when required
  • Carry out any other tasks as and when required

What we're looking for

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or bachelor's degree in business studies/administration/management, Commerce, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years and above of working experience in Supply Chain or Procurement or Purchasing related work.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English and Malay both written and verbal; ability to converse in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
  • Skilled in multi-tasking and flexible to adapt to changes.
  • Have urgency, positive mind-set, self-initiative, passionate, and commitment to work responsibility.
  • Must have computer literate in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
