Manager - Channels Planning and Execution

Functional Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key project stakeholders such as Property and Facility Management, IT, RCGM, RMO, branch representatives, Branch Manager, CSOM, Marcomms, and Procurement to coordinate project activities.
• Develop and monitor the execution plan for assigned projects.
• Track, escalate, and resolve risks, issues, or dependencies impacting scope, timeline, or budget.
• Engage with relevant parties to ensure project deliverables align with the Project Plan.
• Work with stream leads to ensure tasks are executed as planned and manage critical interdependencies to maintain timelines.
• Facilitate project status meetings, highlighting and escalating risks for resolution.
• Keep stakeholders informed on project status, issues, and progress.
• Prepare EAR documents as needed.

Managerial Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other work streams to identify interdependencies and address potential roadblocks.
• Escalate key issues and involve governance forums for decisions and oversight.
• Highlight risks promptly and actively manage potential problems, monitoring progress regularly.
• Provide regular updates to the Line Manager, management, stakeholders, and team members.

Experience and Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial institution, including project management.
• Strong communication skills for clear stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent organizational skills for planning, scheduling, and resource management.
• Problem-solving abilities to resolve issues as they arise.
• Analytical skills, including data analysis and decision-making; proficiency in MS Excel is advantageous.
• Financial analysis skills, including budgeting and cost control.
• Interpersonal skills for building stakeholder and team relationships.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Banking & Finance or a related professional qualification, or equivalent work experience.
