Job summary

A leading company in civil engineering and infrastructure is seeking a Talent Acquisition Executive to lead recruitment efforts. Lead and manage the overall recruitment process, from planning to onboarding, and build the company's reputation as an employer of choice.

Job responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify current and future staffing needs, recommend suitable qualifications, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  2. Source and attract top talent through various channels, including job portals, social media, employee referrals, and proactive headhunting.
  3. Participate in recruitment marketing and employer branding efforts, including career fairs, walk-in interviews, and partnerships with higher education institutions.
  4. Screen resumes, conduct screening interviews, and assess candidates for qualification alignment, cultural fit, and long-term potential.
  5. Facilitate background checks, reference checks, and credit assessments (where applicable) to ensure thorough candidate evaluation.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment reports, dashboards, and organizational charts.
  7. Collaborate with hiring managers to shortlist candidates, participate in final selection processes, and negotiate job offers and salary packages.
  8. Prepare and issue employment contracts for Category C employees and above in accordance with company guidelines.
  9. Coordinate and conduct onboarding and orientation programs for new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the organization.
  10. Support employee engagement initiatives and assist in organizing company events to foster a positive workplace culture.
  11. Conduct exit interviews to gather insights and identify opportunities for improvement in retention strategies.
  12. Coordinate and manage the Employee Satisfaction Survey to collect feedback on company and overall employee experience.
  13. Strengthen recruitment branding efforts by consistently engaging in outreach and marketing activities aimed at promoting the company as an employer of choice.
  14. Build and maintain strong partnerships with external institutions to secure a sustainable talent pipeline for future workforce needs.
  15. Liaise with foreign worker (FW) recruitment agencies and coordinate the recruitment process for foreign labour as required.
  16. Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by management.

Job requirements:

  1. Candidate should possess at least a Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Business Admin or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 3 years of working experience in recruitment; a combination of in-house and agency experience will be an added advantage.
  3. Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  4. Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  6. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Applicant must be able to work in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
