A leading company in the kitchen and wardrobe sector is seeking an Accounting professional to manage invoicing, general ledger, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Accounting, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with SQL software. Strong communication skills in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia are essential. Job description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and manage the Accounts Receivable module, ensuring accurate invoicing and prompt collections.
  2. Managing and overseeing the General Ledger.
  3. Conduct data entry into the SQL accounting system and generate monthly financial reports.
  4. Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify transactions and maintain account accuracy.
  5. Manage and liaise with banks on Bankers Acceptance (BA), Bank Guarantee (BG), and Letter of Credit (LC) documents.
  6. Review and resolve client disputes by organizing and analyzing supporting documents.
  7. Support general office administration tasks as needed.
  8. Undertake additional assignments as required by management.
  9. Any additional responsibilities/ tasks as delegated by the Management as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SQL accounting software is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrates responsibility, initiative, and a positive work attitude.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work on weekends or additional hours when required.
  • Proficient in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia for effective communication with clients and team members.
