ASSISTANT MANAGER, HUMAN RESOURCES (PAVILION BUKIT JALIL MALL)

The Assistant Manager, Human Resources will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Human Resources functions.

Responsibilities
  1. Human Resources Planning
    • Handle the staffing process from recruitment to onboarding
    • Manage induction for new employees
  2. Employee Relations
    • Ensure employees are aware of HR policies and procedures and respond to inquiries
    • Attend to employee grievances and provide guidance
    • Advise management on employee relations issues resolution
    • Plan and organize social activities for employees
  3. Training and Development
    • Coordinate with training providers on training needs in consultation with Line Managers
    • Maintain HRDC claims
    • Ensure adherence to performance management procedures
  4. Payroll and HR Administration
    • Handle payroll processing for all employees
    • Administer employee benefits such as health insurance, leave, etc.
    • Maintain up-to-date employee information in the HR Information System and personnel files
    • Keep records of benefit plans and employee statistics for reporting and audits
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or related courses, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, Labour Laws, and Grievance Procedures
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written)
  • Experience in systems implementation, maintenance, and process improvement
  • Familiarity with recruitment processes
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
