A leading company in the flour milling industry is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform routine tests and ensure product quality. The role involves reporting defects, conducting competitor analysis, and adhering to safety standards. Candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma in Food Technology and at least one year of laboratory experience. This position operates on a shift basis, providing opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic environment.
Perform routine laboratory tests on milling, batching, packing samples, and raw materials according to SOP, ensuring timely and accurate results.
Report any quality defects or arising issues to the superior for further action.
Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for product quality defects and update NCR records accordingly.
Conduct additional testing related to competitor’s flour analysis, flour streaming studies, complaints, and R&D evaluations as assigned.
Accurately record and file test results, graphs, and other documents with no errors.
Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements such as HACCP, FSSC 22000, HALAL, and Good Laboratory Practice.
Serve as a backup to change formulas in IFIX after normal shifts, during weekends, and on public holidays as instructed.
Support and comply with FSSC 22000 requirements and actively participate in related activities.
Perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by management.
Qualification & Experience:
Certificate/Diploma in Food Technology or any Science related field.
Minimum 1 year working experience in Laboratory.
Positive work attitude.

Shift based (4 on 3 off)
