We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to make a significant impact within our team. This customer-facing sales role involves managing and expanding business primarily in Malaysia's water sector. Your professional integrity and respectful nature will be essential in establishing unique relationships with customers in this industry. This position is ideal for a progressive and creative hunter who can employ an effective structured approach to win new customers.

How You Will Add Value To Our Team
  • Manage and expand business within your designated accounts.
  • Take ownership of sales targets for all products, services, projects, and support work.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of Malaysia's water sector and leverage this knowledge to align Ovarro solutions and services to solve business challenges.
  • Collaborate closely in developing and managing growth strategies.
  • Manage the pipeline of opportunities, actively engage, and maintain CRM records.
  • Lead on bids and proposals where appropriate, ensuring excellent cooperation with internal stakeholders to produce compelling proposals.
What Value You Will Bring To Our Team
  • Successful sales experience in selling water sector solutions to major public utilities and infrastructure companies, ideally in leak detection and telemetry applications.
  • Experience in managing major bids (>£1m), coordination, and project delivery skills.
  • Ability to create and implement value-based sales strategies combining products and services to achieve customer outcomes.
  • Established relationships at decision-making levels within Malaysia's water sector.
  • Sound technical knowledge of instrumentation and data sectors related to industrial automation, telemetry, SCADA, RTU, logger hardware, and analytical software.
Additional Information

This position is home-based but requires residence in Malaysia. Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays and occasional international travel, is necessary.

You will participate in regular sales meetings and contribute to sales performance monitoring and reporting.
