Job description

Assist in developing a robust and scientific molding process for injection molded parts.

Perform process optimization for new and existing processes to improve product quality, productivity, and overall equipment efficiency.

Assist in developing and maintaining systematic process documentation for injection molding processes.

Perform injection molding process troubleshooting in case of part failure and assist in the control and analysis of rejected parts.

Perform troubleshooting of injection molding machines when breakdowns occur.

Assist in new mold trials.

Monitor the performance of injection molds and provide suggestions to resolve mold-related issues.

Assist in the maintenance of process-related tooling and equipment.

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least a diploma in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years practical experience in the injection molding field.
• Good knowledge of injection molding machines, processing, tooling, equipment, materials, manufacturing, and quality.
• Demonstrate passion for the manufacturing sector.
• Ability to start-up, operate, troubleshoot, and shut down process-related equipment.
• Ability to work independently on process development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bilingual in English and Malay; knowledge of a third language is an advantage.
