Job description

Job Summary

Transportation Assistant (Transport planner & POD) prime responsibility is to assist the Transport Manager on the inbound & outbound operation activities for IDC warehouse in line with the agreed SOPs.

You will play an essential role to:

  • POD Management, tracking, reporting, and filling.
  • Manage and monitor truck booking arrangement.
  • Participate in stock count activities for Mega and external warehouse.
  • Management of sales return (SRN) and trade return (TRN) to Mega.
  • 3PL and supplier invoice verification.
  • Liaise and working with 3PL in the day to day Logistics and operational matters.
  • To plan and coordinate stocks transfer from Mega to an external warehouses.
  • To monitor incoming stock from OEM and provide the inbound delivery ASN to 3PL.
  • To liaise with customer service, planner, production team and finance department on the day to day Mega operation.
  • Provide general administration and clerical support.
  • Monitor and compile transport cost saving.

To be successful in this application, you will need to have:

  • Minimum SPM or Diploma in Logistic/ Transportation.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Bahasa.
  • Good with MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint.
  • At least 1 year working experience preferably in FMCG warehousing or logistics environment.
  • Working knowledge of any integrated MRP/ TMS system. Knowledge in Oracle will be an advantage.
  • Organized, process-orientated, and the ability to work independently.
