Job Summary

Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Onboarding Engineer will organize and execute project management and construction activities on a dredger and act as a translator between the crew.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure works on the dredger run smoothly.
2. Act as the main translator between crewmates.
3. Manage day-to-day operations, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and subcontractors.
4. Oversee quality control, safety, health, and environmental matters on site.
5. Resolve unexpected technical issues and other problems that may arise.
6. Oversee the selection, requisition, and planning of materials to ensure all materials used meet specifications.
7. Prepare daily and monthly progress reports.
8. Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues when necessary.
9. Comply with all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health, and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the Company.
10. Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

Skills & Abilities

1. Able to communicate in Chinese.
2. Good computer knowledge (Microsoft Office and AutoCAD).

Expected Minimum Years Of Experience

2 Years in the relevant field.
