Job Responsibilities

Supervise and assist the Production Manager in all manufacturing operations.

Manage resources effectively to achieve the company's objectives, aligned with its Vision and Mission.

Lead a team of supervisors, technicians, line leaders, and manufacturing workers to meet production targets and pursue continuous improvement.

Ensure daily output and monthly sales targets are achieved within the company budget, with detailed production planning and progress control.

Maintain high-quality standards in output according to Work Instructions, customer specifications, and IPC standards.

Ensure machines are fully utilized and well-maintained through regular preventive maintenance and the use of original spare parts.

Monitor production irregularities, keep the Production Manager informed, and oversee inventory of Work-In-Progress, ensuring timely Shop Floor Control (SFC) closure.

Control scrap costs by minimizing mistakes in production lines and oversee the cost center.

Optimize production layout to minimize waste and improve productivity, managing the production floor independently.

Continuously improve efficiency, productivity, and test yield by procuring necessary resources to meet targets.

Maintain good housekeeping following the 5S concept, foster a conducive working environment, and perform additional duties as assigned.

Identify potential cost savings to enhance profitability and provide training to subordinates to foster teamwork.

Coordinate the development, training, and implementation of systems and processes supporting business objectives.

Recruit, retain, and develop team members, ensuring independent operation and the latest technology adoption for machinery and tools.

Participate in strategic development activities, continuously improve the responsible section aligned with operational and strategic goals.

Lead or collaborate on projects, guiding the operations team in developing and monitoring project timelines, especially for new product launches.

Facilitate knowledge exchange with other departments, build relationships to improve communication and process efficiency, and demonstrate expertise in production operations, including scheduling and troubleshooting.

Implement strategic improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and employee satisfaction, and propose more effective production methods.

Use work measurement techniques like Time Study and work sampling to establish standard times.

Enforce discipline, ensure safe working methods, and attend to operators' general welfare.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

Job Requirements

• Preferably a Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Professional Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Basic technical education in electronics and process methodology.
• At least 5 years of experience in a contract manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and effective communication skills across support groups and departments.
• Leadership training or extensive practical experience in electronics manufacturing or similar industry.
• At least 1 year of computer knowledge.
• Fluent in English, both speaking and writing.
