We are looking for a qualified Account Manager based in the Northern Office. You will be responsible for supporting various operational functions within a startup environment, including assisting with day-to-day tasks. The Account Manager will work closely with various teams within the startup, gaining exposure to different departments and valuable work experience.

  • Be responsible and reliable; maintain confidentiality; exhibit integrity; experience maintaining an organized and up-to-date pipeline of opportunities; and a commitment to perform a variety of duties related to daily operational processes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • You are willing to challenge when appropriate and lead activities within the business areas.

What you'll do

  • The role of Account Manager offers an exciting opportunity to promote Experian's proprietary risk management solutions among users.
  • You will focus on customer acquisition and engage with business owners and entrepreneurs across multiple industry sectors.
  • Ample training and guidance will be provided to hone your client engagement and selling skills.
  • Resource allocation and establishing communication and engagement with prospects and other departments will be part of your responsibilities.

More about you

  • Candidates with 1 year of sales experience are preferred; SME sales experience is an advantage.
  • Extensive knowledge of operations; experience working in a fast-paced environment or a related financial institution is highly valuable.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other essential software tools is considered an added advantage, assuming baseline computer literacy.
  • Experience supervising a team towards goals is a plus.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
