We are seeking a candidate with a valid Boilerman Grade 1 certification and experience in production processes to oversee and support daily plant operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining process equipment and high-capacity steam boilers to ensure optimal plant performance, safety, and compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Boiler Operation:
- Operate and maintain high-capacity steam boilers according to Boilerman Grade 1 standards.
- Monitor and control boiler systems, including pressure, temperature, and water levels.
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory requirements.
- Process Operations:
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production process equipment.
- Assist in setup and changeovers of production equipment.
- Conduct in-process inspections to maintain product quality.
- Accurately log production data for reporting and analysis.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in risk assessments, safety drills, and audits.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Maintenance & Support:
- Collaborate with maintenance teams for repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report malfunctions and assist in root cause analysis.
Requirements
- Education & Certification:
- Preferably SPM / Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or related fields.
- Valid Boilerman Grade 1 Certificate recognized by the relevant authority.
- Experience:
- At least 3–5 years in a manufacturing or process plant.
- Hands-on experience with steam boilers and process equipment.
- Skills:
- Understanding of boiler operations and process controls.
- Familiarity with SOPs and GMP.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, data logging systems).
- Working Conditions:
- Shift work may be required.
- Exposure to heat, steam, and manufacturing environments.
